The Ewelme Almshouse Charity (sometimes referred to as the Ewelme Trust) provides almshouse accommodation for elderly persons who are in financial need.
Our almshouses are located in the villages of Ewelme in Oxfordshire and Marsh Gibbon in Buckinghamshire and preference is given to applicants from, or with connections to, those localities.
A separate body of Governors appointed by the Charity administers the provision of our educational support whereby financial assistance is given to young people whose family circumstances require it.
The Charity owns and maintains over 70 commercially and residentially let properties and farms, the income from which funds our charitable objectives. We are registered with the Charity Commission and governed by a Board of 10 Trustees.
